The type of injection protocol used for hCG injections is call Subcutaneous Injection. This type of injecton is where a solution is injected immediately beneath the skin. It is in an efficient means of administering many medications to include insulin and hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin). It is also referred to as Sc, SQ or SubQ injections.
With a correct SubQ injection, it is common to have a wheal or a tiny bumb of medication where the medication is sitting between the layers of skin. It is common to get small bruising in the area that you inject. We suggest Arnica Montana, cream, gel or oral medication to assist in bruising or apply heat to area if needed. These suggestions will increase the response to healing for those who typically bruise from this type of injcetion.
